Why Are We Called Moe’s?

Contrary to popular belief, the owner of Moe’s Ices is called Met, not Moe! His two youngest sons are named Oscar and Ethan, and together their initials spell “Moe”. Seeing as Oscar and Ethan hold the vitally important roles of Co-Chief Taste Testers, we felt it only right for them to be represented in the business name!

Moe’s invest deeply in our business to ensure that our customers receive the very best experience and very best ice cream. Our vans are equipped with the highest-grade Carpigiani ice cream machines and we only use the very best quality, premium, fresh ice cream mix in the machines. This is what makes our ice cream so light, refreshing and tempting!

Environmental responsibility is taken very seriously at Moe’s. Which is why we made some significant changes to the way things were done from the very first year we were in business. Back then, it was even more expensive and difficult to source products which helped us care for the environment but we were committed to this then and remain so today.

Our vans are kept spotlessly clean and we follow rigorous hygiene protocols on a daily basis. We are proud of our Food Standards Agency hygiene rating of 5, which you can view here.
